The Polish National Alliance South Side Senior Group celebrated the Christmas Holiday on Tuesday, December 17, 2013. The Mayfield Banquet Hall was adorned beautifully with Christmas decorations. Over one hundred forty guests were dressed for the Season as well, the men wearing their Christmas neckties or hats and the ladies wearing festive sweaters or outfits.

PNA Vice President Paul Odrobina emceed the program, and led everyone in prayer and a toast for a healthy and happy holiday. Wishes for a Merry Christmas and best health came with the traditional breaking of the oplatki. After the delicious meal, Mr. Odrobina introduced President Frank J. Spula, who also addressed greetings to the attendees, National Treasurer Marian Grabowski, PNA Directors, Christine Domalewski, Joseph Samreta and Irene Hercik, Commissioners of District 12 Barbara Wesolowski and Jerzy Hejna former Directors Helen Orawiec, Cecelia Tomaszkiewicz, and Arthur Trybek, former Commissioners Anna Kokoszka, and Roman Bucon (District 12) and the volunteers that help at the meetings, Irene Spiewak, Helen Orawiec, Roman and Anna Bucon, Florence Jadach, Loretta Waltee, Barbara Wesolowski, Christine Domalewski and Eleanor Jasiorkowski and the Home Office Staff Joan Oskorep, and Robert Jadach and also Janice Odrobina.

Vice President Odrobina mentioned that the year ahead, will have more activities, trips, and speakers. He mentioned that the next meeting will be in February.

The "Joe Pat" Orchestra under the Direction of Frank Gentille entertained the seniors before and after dinner with a variety of music to dance.
