Christmas Cheer Is Here at the PNA!
On November 18, 2024, the Edgebrook-Sauganash Chamber of Commerce hosted its 15th annual Community Holiday Lighting Ceremony at the Polish National Alliance (PNA). This beloved tradition annually transforms the PNA building and grounds into a breathtaking Christmas wonderland and marks the beginning of the Christmas season in the Sauganash downtown shopping district.
Despite a rainy evening, the weather did not dampen the festive spirit. The event moved indoors, where Edgebrook-Sauganash Chamber Executive Director Kathy Fern warmly welcomed attendees, followed by Illinois State Senator Ram Villivalam and 39th Ward Alderman Samantha Nugent. Together, Senator Villivalam and Alderman Nugent had the honor of pressing the button to officially light up the PNA grounds, prompting cheers from the crowd as the dazzling lights illuminated the space.
Adding to the holiday ambiance, the Sauganash School Singers performed three Christmas carols, delighting the audience and spreading festive cheer. The PNA lobby was filled with guests who enjoyed caroling, hot chocolate, and cookies. PNA President Frank Spula delivered the closing remarks, thanking all for attending.
The Polish National Alliance extends its gratitude to the Edgebrook-Sauganash Chamber of Commerce, local leaders, and the community for making this event a success. PNA invites everyone to visit its grounds throughout the season and experience the magic of the holiday light displays.
Since 1880, the Polish National Alliance has been a trusted provider of life insurance and annuity products, serving nearly two million individuals and families. While honoring its Polish-American heritage, the PNA is an inclusive fraternal benefit society, offering financial security for all.
