Explanation of Riders
Accidental Death Benefit (0-69)
- Available to applicants between the ages of 0-69.
- This rider provides payment of double the face amount of one’s insurance should death result from an accident.
- Total maximum on rider is 250,000.
Disability Waiver of Premium (5-64)
- Recommended for all policy-owners.
- Available to applicants between the ages of 5-64.
- Should the insured become totally disabled for 6 continuous months or longer and have not reached the age of 65, the PNA will waive premiums on the insured’s certificate.
Guaranteed Insurability Provision
- Available to applicants between the ages of 0-39.
- Guarantees the right to purchase additional insurance without evidence of insurability on each of six Option Dates set forth by the anniversary of the certificate following the member’s 25th, 28th, 31st, 34th, 37th, and 40th birthdays. Maximum $25,000
Children’s Term to Age 25
- Provides insurance coverage of $5,000 on one or more children in a single rider for one premium.
- It can be attached to basic certificate on their parent (between the ages of 16-55).
- The child must be between ages of 15 days to-20 years at the time of issue.
Living Benefit Rider*
- This rider is automatically attached, at no cost to the applicant, to whole life certificates with insurance amounts of $10, 000 or more.
- This rider provides for a portion of a certificate’s proceeds to be paid prior to the death of the insured, provided that the insured has medical evidence of a life expectancy of 12 month or less; and elects to exercise this rider.
