PNA Polish Heritage Night at US Cellular Field.

On Wednesday, June 13th the Polish National Alliance participated in a night of music and dance while celebrating Polish Heritage Night at the US Cellular Field in Chicago as the Chicago White Sox battled the New York Yankees. It was a exciting game. The White Sox won 5 to 4, in a packed stadium filled with proud Polish American fans wearing white and red colors, including; many PNA members and with their family and friends. They enjoyed an energetic and fun filled evening supporting the Chicago White Sox! This year, the tickets included a nice red sox hat with an embroidered polish flag.

Karolina Baran Kaeyra delivered a beautiful rendition of the Star Spangled Banner. MLB and the White Sox thanked SI Ted Dobrowolski for his service.

Prior to the game we had a chance to take part in a parade on the field. There were smiles, laughter, and energetic enthusiasm among Polish-American children, parents, grandparents, and friends during the game and festivities. Polish pierogi were available for purchase. The Polish Hall of Fame was also there. The Polish-American fans hit a grand slam that night!

A sincere thank you “dziękujemy” to all the PNA members and friends who supported Polish National Alliance’s (PNA) Polish Heritage Night with the Chicago White Sox!

Hope to see you next year.
