Undergraduate Scholarships 2019

Polish National Alliance Ad-Hoc Committee recently examined over 197 received applications for 2019-20. The scholarships are awarded to full-time students who are sophomore, juniors, or seniors and are continuing their undergraduate studies at a U.S college in the fall semester.

Each application was evaluated based on Grade-point average, PNA membership, family membership, educational goals, and involvement in fraternal and youth organizations including church, community, and college activities.

The scholarship amounts ranged from $3,000.00 to $500.00.

Only students with a grade-point average of at least 3.0 were taken into consideration.

All Applicants were required to be members with a Permanent Plan of Insurance for a minimum of three or two years if at least one parent has been an insured member for five years or more.

Along with the application, an official transcript and 3×5 size photo were required. Applications without official transcripts are automatically denied.

Applications are awarded based on a point system from the information listed. Therefore, it was imperative that all required information was fully completed. Determining the recipients is always a difficult task.

All applications had to be mailed to the PNA headquarters by April 15th.

PNA wishes all students the best of luck in pursuing their educational goals and encourages them to apply again from January 1st until April 15, 2020.
